The campus of the University is beautifully crafted and redesigned. I feel as if I belong to something, versus my previous experience at a community college where I merely showed up, rarely talked to anyone, and then went home. All the staff and faculty are caring and engaged with the students. Education and Job Info. The only thing is quarter system is quite a rush. Some of the buildings do need remodeled, but the landscaping and general setting is beautiful.
College has been the best time of my life, Ohio University has already opened so many doors for so many and it just keeps growing and getting better. Come check it out! I love Bowling Green State University! It is such an amazing and beautiful campus. Even though the weather isn't all that great in Bowling Green, that doesn't stop the students of doing different things. Downtown is so close to campus and it allows the students to try local restaurants and go to cute boutiques.
In addition, the student life on campus is a wonderful. There are so many student organizations that a ton of people are apart of and they also have greek life which is amazing community.
Bowling Green is a wonderful place and I fell in love with it when I first visited the campus. I love Kent State! Having just finished my first year at this amazing university I believe I am able to give a reasonable review. Starting with the pros, Kent State has an amazing resource system. Kent State has amazing faculty and staff that I believe are truly there to help you. From custodians to our president, I have had nothing but great experiences.
Kent State is always improving and trying to be the best. Cons, being that it is such a huge university parking can be a hassle and the walking can be tiresome. There is a wide range of people there so of course a few aren't going to be the most pleasant. All in all I truly enjoy Kent State and cannot wait to further my education here! I love how helpful everyone is! I love their commitment to higher education. Their housing, though not directly associated with the university, is beautiful and clean.
The monthly price seems high, but it's definitely worth it. I love the class sizes because you're able to build more personal relationships with your professors and get one on one attention if needed. The professors actually care about their jobs and their students. Cleveland State is located in downtown Cleveland so there are many different attractions including restaurants, stores , museums, bars , parks you name it!
Another thing I really love about CSU is the advisory services as a first generation freshman I felt very supported as far as preparation as well as financial help.
The party scene is not really great but otherwise all around great school. I feel as if I belong to something, versus my previous experience at a community college where I merely showed up, rarely talked to anyone, and then went home. The atmosphere at the University of Toledo is totally different. I felt like I became a part of a close-knit community and was welcomed by all students and staff.
I feel excited to come to school and learn now, after feeling burnt out after my first two years. Additionally, there are so many helpful resources to help better your education including an enormous library and success coaches!
My success coach has helped me overcome my fear, nervousness, and pushed me to be a better student. This is something I never had at my community college, and I am thankful for it every day because it's so important to have someone by your side rooting for you during the entire semester.
I have grown to love this school because there is so many things that I have learned in the past year. Being an adult is hard, but the professors are always willing to help and advisors provide great guidance. The other students that attend the school are great! They are always willing to be your study buddy; which is key to surviving college. Overall, I believe that MUM is the place to be if you are being newly introduced into the idea of college. It helps you set your grounds and figure out what is best for you and your future life.
I love the affordability of this school! Also, the class sizes are amazing because I can get one-on-one help from the professor if I need it. It's also close to my home, so I am saving a lot of money by commuting. The property is gorgeous!
I love walking or running on the paths they have in the woods. The professors are really helpful and friendly, and it's just a great learning environment. I would recommend this school to anybody!
The University of Akron is a very modern campus located in the heart of Akron. In the past few years there have been many renovations on campus.
The law building was recently renovated a year ago and the Business administration building is in the early stages of a renovation currently. There do come some downsides to being located in the heart of Akron. Occasionally a homeless person will wander on to campus and ask students for money.
But I have never heard of them getting violent. There's plenty of clubs to join and friendly people if you're the social type.
If you're not, that's okay too! Tons of kids just go to class and go home and they still have a great experience due to the excellent professors that are on campus. I have just recently completed my two years at the Blue Ash campus. I absolutely enjoyed studying there for many reasons.
Firstly, the tuition is much less than the main campus. It is a no-brainer to complete pre -requisites at a cheaper price if the opportunity is there. In addition, the professors are amazing. The class sizes are small which makes it easy to make a relationship with the instructor. Secondly, there are many helpful labs that can certainly help if a student finds that they are struggling.
Lastly, the advisors and onestop are there every step of the way as a student is ready to transition to main campus. UCBA provides an atmosphere that is welcoming and allows students to feel productive and supported.
I am so grateful that I chose to save myself some money and still receive my education. YSU is a great college to go to if you like a small campus but the educational opportunities of a large college or university. Class sizes are relatively small the professor to student ratio is about Small classes allow students to get he individual help that they might need or want. The educational benefits of YSU are amazing for a same state university. Although, there are somethings I would like to see change.
There are not a lot of students that live on campus, there are only three dorm buildings in total. It almost feels like a commuter school in the sense that there are a lot of students that just go to class and then drive home. Weekends are very quiet and there aren't a lot of parties going on mostly because of the lack of students on campus.
But, there is some change happening! YSU is building new apartment building the students can stay in. There are three apartment complexes around campus, University Edge, University Courtyards and they are build The Enclave.
My Wright State experience has been great! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The classroom sizes are good and I feel like each teacher will give you the needed attention. I am currently a student here and I absolutely love it! The classes are small so you get more attention and help from the professors which are also super nice. The party scene here does not exist, you have to go up to Oxford for that, but the student activities and clubs are awesome and easy to join.
I've taken two years worth of courses at the Wright State - Lake Campus! It's definitely a small town basic college, but a great choice none the less. The faculty is exceptional, always pushing to expand the student mind, and the classes are offordable. There are many encouraged accommodations made available for all students including free counseling.
I only give them four out of five stars, simply because certain majors cannot be completed at the lake campus alone without having to transfer to the Dayton Campus. UC Clermont is a great stepping stone towards a bachelor's degree or wherever your college career may take you.
